Discover the beauty and expressive qualities of porcelain clay in this beginner friendly sculpting workshop. Participants will learn basic sculpting techniques while exploring the unique qualities of this refined and luminous medium.
In a relaxed and supportive environment, you’ll be encouraged to explore your creativity, experiment with form and texture, and freely express your ideas through clay. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Tanis will guide you through the process while helping you discover the creative possibilities of working with porcelain.
Trust Your Intuition with Porcelain Clay

Develop and strengthen your intuition through the hands on experience of working with porcelain clay. In this welcoming workshop, clay becomes a tool for slowing down, sensing, and learning to trust your inner guidance. Through simple clay techniques, guided imagery, and intuition development exercises, participants will explore creative impulses and intuitive decision making. No clay experience is needed just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
Led by Tanis, author of My Mother’s Hands: A Sculptor’s Journey to Six Sensory Creativity, with 20+ years blending art and intuition.
