“Intimacy Version #2” has two forms in relationship that create something beautiful by revealing their vulnerabilities (cracks with gold inside). I called this "Version Two” because intimacy often takes many attempts to get right, stumbling through and trying again with our loved ones.

This is inspired by a traditional Japanese and Chinese concept call “Kinsugi” which is a process of filling cracks in clay bowls with gold. This process symbolizes that our “broken” parts can sometimes be our greatest gifts. Instead of gold I have chosen a flash of red resin, filling the crack with an unexpected highlight of colour symbolizing strength and resilience.
