2010 Flow Series: These porcelain forms are

exploring the vessel form and are inspired by the

flowing of water and the force of nature.

Shadow Series:These works were formed with a

spotlight using the shadows to guide me towards the

finished piece.The interior space of the form is

exciting to me and is as carefully considered as the

exterior.

The shadows inside and out of the vessel, and

negative space, are as important as the form itself

and become part of the overall composition. This

series was stimulated during a two month ceramics

residency in Vallauris France where Picasso also

studied ceramics.
