These works are a selection from my shadow series.

The porcelain was formed with a spotlight using the

shadows to guide me towards the finished piece.

The shadows inside and out of the vessel, and negative

space, are as important as the form itself and become

part of the overall composition. This series was

stimulated during a two month ceramics residency in

Vallauris, France.
