“Sugi and Jade”
A carved piece of jade visually prys open a space and is held from above by sculpted piece of Sugi, a Japanese treated wood.
This sculpture is secured from the ceiling.
A black pearl visually breaks through the surface of the sculpture.
All my work is one of a kind, I don’t use molds or reproduce my work unless I am working on a series in which case, there are just similarities. This keeps my work evolving and the excitement of the next piece fresh in my creating process.
