These works are a selection from my shadow series.

The porcelain was formed with a spotlight using the

shadows to guide me towards the finished piece.

The shadows and negative space are as important as

the form itself: shadows around the vessel frame the

work and become part of the overall composition. This

series was stimulated during a two month ceramics

residency in Vallauris, France.
